I posted a lot of beach-selfies on Instagram while on my recent vacation to Mexico, and many of you we’re dying to know where I got my bathing suits. You all know I’m a busty girl and have discussed the importance of a well-fitting bra. Supporting your “girls” whether it be in a bra or a bathing suit will make you FEEL GOOD and LOOK GOOD. I got my first bra fitting for my twenty-first birthday, and as dramatic as it sounds, it literally changed the way my clothes looked and felt. Three years ago I decided I could no longer squeeze my tatas into size large bathing suit tops that were ultimately ill fitting elsewhere. I had to take the plunge and invest in some bathing suits that fit my body. So, I bid farewell to my days of stocking up on multiple suits every season from the glorious Target swim section and found some brands that would suit me and my body better and stand the test of time.
There are two sites where I find my cup-sized swimwear: ASOS and Figleaves. Both of these sites happen to originate in the UK. I’m not sure if British ladies are more busty or if Americans just can’t seem to stray away from their itsy bitsy teeny weeny bikinis. Either way you need not fear about exorbitant costs to ship across the pond. ASOS offers FREE shipping and returns, and Figleaves offers FREE shipping and reasonably priced returns to their U.S. warehouse in Virginia. On each of these sites you can shop separate tops and bottoms to suit your unique proportions. ASOS offers up to size 42E(DD) and Figleaves offers up to size 44H. On certain suits, be sure to note the UK to US size conversion. Better yet? There are one piece suits in cup sizes too! I have to admit, monokinis are my newest obsession. There are three particular brands I have purchased from these sites that have a great fit and run TTS: Freya, Midnight Grace, and Cleo by Panache. However, I’ve had such a positive experience on these sites, I would honestly trust any of the reviews and brands (I’ve heard great things about Curvy Kate). Some of the suits pictured are from past seasons, but I’m still going to share the details so you can shop these suits! (Or at least similar ones). As always, shop smart ladies! I always fill my shopping bag and wait for a good deal. I got all my suits either on sale or during a 20% off promotion. Remember my motto, never pay full price for anything!
